Government of Kerala has issued Guideline for Local Governments for making HIV/AIDS responses during Twelfth Five Year Plan period (2012-2017) as per G.O.(M.S.)no.653/13/LSGD, Thiruvananthapurm dated 15/3/2013. This guideline was drafted by KILA in consultation with Kerala State AIDS Control Society. The guidelines suggests the local governments to take up activities like HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, care and nutritional support for HIV/AIDS affected, psycho-social support, social security and welfare programmes, economic and self employment programmes
